In Brasstown, NC is 380 acres in a rolling valley that offers visitors the chance to share in the crafts, techniques and tools that the mountain people historically used in every day life.
Watch a demonstration or better yet, take a class in pottery, ironwork, woodcarving, weaving, furniture-making, woodturning, basketry, glasswork, painting, or the music and dance of Appalachia. Visit the shop where high-quality crafts by school instructors and other regional artists are for sale.
